What is the SIELE online Spanish exam and how does it work?
SIELE is the International Service for the Evaluation of the Spanish Language, an official evaluation and certification service for the degree of proficiency in Spanish through technological means aimed at students and professionals from the five continents.
It is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the University of Salamanca and the University of Buenos Aires, which guarantees quality standards and good practices in the preparation of tests, and the use of different linguistic varieties of the Hispanic world.
SIELE certifies the degree of competence in the Spanish language through four tests: Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, Written Expression and Interaction and Oral Expression and Interaction; and takes as a reference the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe.
SIELE is a multi-level exam. Depending on the points you get, you will obtain one level or another, from A1 to C1 of the CEFR.
Results are received within a maximum of 3 weeks and you can print your certificate or report from the application.
There are different types of exams: SIELE Global (complete exam) or Independent Modalities (take the exam on the skill you are most interested in certifying).
The exam is taken at the SIELE exam center of your choice (or online from wherever you want) and on the date of your choice.
SIELE is pan-Hispanic and incorporates the different linguistic variants of Spanish.

I know what it feels like to try to learn a new language and feel like you’re not making progress.
I’ve also been in a foreign country, I’ve had to work with people who spoke other languages and I know how important it is to be able to communicate correctly.
This led me to create Campus ELE, but don’t think I’m starting from scratch.
I studied Hispanic Philology at the University of Barcelona and I took the Master’s in Teaching Spanish at the UdL, because I always wanted to work as a Spanish teacher for foreigners.

How long are the classes?
Classes last 55 minutes, and the first class is FREE: it is a very important class, because you will meet your teacher, you will see how the online classes will work and we will answer any questions you may have.
What will classes be like?
Classes are held via videoconference with native teachers. We use several video applications and we always choose the one you prefer, the one you feel most comfortable with (Zoom, Skype, Webex, Meet, Teams). We also share all the class materials with you so that you always have everything well organized.
Will I have a fixed schedule or can I change it every week?
In individual courses the schedule is completely customized, so we can change it according to your needs. In group courses the schedules are fixed, but there are several options for you to register for the course that best suits your needs.
What do I need to take the course?
For your classes you will only need this:

- Mobile device: computer, tablet or mobile phone
What kind of materials does the course include?
To prepare for your SIELE exam, we use real materials and the manual approved by the Instituto Cervantes, as well as materials created by us to prepare each part of the exam in the best possible way. In addition, your teacher will give you extra material so that you can get the most out of your learning.
How do I pay for the course?
